Welcome to NorthRiff. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, online store, and related services.

Throughout these Terms, “NorthRiff,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to NorthRiff. Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy.

1. Eligibility and use of the store

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

When placing an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information, including your email address, shipping address, billing information, and payment details.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate before submitting your order.

2. Products

NorthRiff sells made-to-order apparel and related merchandise.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, designs, sizing information, and other product details accurately. However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings, garment production, and printing process.

Product availability, designs, colours, sizes, and specifications may change without notice.

3. Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase from NorthRiff.

We may accept, decline, or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

payment problems
suspected fraud
product or variant unavailability
pricing or listing errors
shipping restrictions
technical errors
suspected misuse of the store

Payment must be successfully processed before an order can proceed.

Because our merchandise is made to order, cancellation or modification may not be possible once fulfillment has started.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it.

4. Prices, payment, and charges

Unless otherwise stated, prices on the NorthRiff store are displayed in Canadian dollars.

The product price, shipping charges, applicable taxes, and any other amounts payable will be shown during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Prices and promotions may change without notice, but any change will not affect an order already accepted at the confirmed price.

5. Shipping and delivery

Orders are produced and shipped by third-party print-on-demand and fulfillment providers.

Any production or delivery timeframe displayed on our website or communicated to you is an estimate and is not guaranteed.

Delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, including:

production delays
carrier delays
weather
incorrect or incomplete shipping information
remote destination delivery
customs or border processing where applicable
other events outside our reasonable control

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

If an order appears lost, delayed beyond the expected delivery window, damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, contact us at trending.merch2026@gmail.com so we can investigate.

6. Returns, refunds, and replacements

Returns, refunds, replacements, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Because NorthRiff products are made to order, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size or colour selected by the customer, or buyer preference.

Damaged, defective, misprinted, incorrect, or qualifying lost orders will be handled according to our Return & Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the NorthRiff name, branding, original designs, graphics, text, photographs, product artwork, and website content are owned by NorthRiff or used under appropriate permission or licence.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, commercially exploit, or create derivative commercial products from NorthRiff content without our prior written permission.

Third-party names, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property appearing on the website remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Third-party services

Our store relies on third-party providers, including Shopify, payment providers, fulfillment providers, shipping carriers, and other service providers.

Their services may be subject to separate terms and privacy practices.

NorthRiff is responsible for its relationship with you as the seller of the products you purchase from our store. Shopify is the ecommerce platform provider and is not the seller of NorthRiff products.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Because our store is hosted by Shopify and uses third-party fulfillment and payment services, customer information may be processed by those providers where necessary to complete payments, produce products, fulfill orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, and operate the store.

10. Website availability and errors

We try to keep our website and product information accurate and available.

However, information may occasionally contain errors involving:

product descriptions
pricing
availability
shipping charges
delivery estimates
promotions
product images
other store information

We may correct errors and update information where necessary.

Where an error materially affects an order, we may contact you before proceeding or cancel and refund the affected order where appropriate.

11. Prohibited use

You must not use the website or services:

for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
to violate applicable laws
to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
to transmit malicious software
to interfere with website security or operation
to impersonate another person
to misuse payment systems

We may restrict access or cancel orders where reasonably necessary to protect NorthRiff, customers, Shopify, or third parties.

12. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or override any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

For online consumer transactions governed by Ontario law, customers may have rights under applicable Ontario consumer-protection legislation in addition to the terms stated here.

Ontario rules for internet agreements require certain information to be disclosed before the customer completes an eligible online transaction, including supplier contact information, product and price information, shipping and other charges, and an opportunity to correct errors before purchase.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NorthRiff will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or purchase of our products.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The current version will be posted on this page with the latest revision date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Governing law

These Terms and your use of the NorthRiff store are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply based on your location.
